Richard Howard

Founder/Director

With over 25 years of recruitment experience, Richard set up R9 Recruitment in 2016 with the aim of providing a professional and honest service to clients and candidates alike. Outside of work Richard likes to play golf and football and is currently learning Spanish, in preparation for his future long-term move.

Joshua Allison

Gas & Maintenance Manager

Josh has worked for R9 Recruitment since January 2019 having previously worked for Richard in the same role. Josh is responsible for the day-to-day running of the team and manages some key accounts within the business. Outside of work, Josh is an avid Tottenham fan, enjoys watching sport, and having a beer with friends.

Alex Moir

Recruitment Consultant

Alex works in a 360-degree role liaising with clients and candidates alike. Predominantly focused on our busy Gas division, Alex works throughout the UK placing engineers into a variety of roles including contract and permanent. In her free time, Alex enjoys going out and spending quality time with friends and family, as well as trying new restaurants and going shopping!

Simona Canalella

Recruitment Consultant

Simona is fast becoming an established Consultant within the Gas Sector. Working in a 360 role speaking to clients and candidates, Simona’s attention to detail sets her apart from the rest. Outside of work, Simona likes to spend her time going out for Turkish meals with family or friends and is currently learning to speak Italian.

Shelley Jenner

Payroll & Accounts Manager

Shelley is responsible for processing and managing all aspects of our payroll and accounting. Shelley has invaluable knowledge around the systems we use and provides constant support to our owner Richard. Outside of work, Shelley enjoys spending time with her two daughters and going for long walks.

Joe Laws

Recruitment Consultant

Joe heads up our Trades and Labour division working with clients across the UK. Joe’s ability to fill requirements quickly whilst delivering quality at all times set him aside from competition. Outside of work Joe is a Tottenham season ticket holder and enjoys trips away with his partner Chloe.

Rhys Walker

Recruitment Consultant

Rhys is responsible for helping the Senior Consultant team recruit for high-volume contracts across the country. Outside of work, Rhys enjoys a game of golf and spending time with family and friends.

Ernie Crowe

Recruitment Consultant

Ernie works alongside our Senior Consultant team to assist in filling day to day requirements across the country. New to recruitment when he joined, Ernie is proving to be a very valuable member of the team. Outside of work, Ernie is an Arsenal season ticket holder, plays football and meets up with friends.

Kerry Cleak

Payroll Manager

Kerry manages and runs all aspects of payroll ensuring that everyone is paid correctly and on time every week. In her spare time Kerry loves anything sport related such as, boxing, weight training and HIIT classes. Outside of this Kerry is very sociable and enjoys heading into London with friends and meeting up for family gatherings.
